www.whatismyip.comEnter the IP you got from that into the IP Address box and press "start" to host your own. After that, just log in as usual. Others will be able to join if you give them that IP address too.

Try 'Connect to any of the loginservers... LoginConnection.Connect(New IPEndPoint(System.Net.IPAddress.Parse("62.75.179.72"), 7171)) Catch Try LoginConnection.Connect(New IPEndPoint(System.Net.IPAddress.Parse("67.15.99.131"), 7171)) Catch SendLoginMessage(Socket, CouldntConnect_Server) Exit Sub End Try End Try
That is, server.tibia.com and server2.tibia.com respectively.

Okay, just to really clear it out:
The code just passes everything on to the tibia server.

It's very hard to give proper instructions when everything varies from computer to computer, network to network.
It would help if you told me which part didn't work. I plan on collecting all problems and solutions in the FAQ thread once there's enough.

Allrighty, here's a little checklist:
Have you... * Put in the right IP in the box? * Forwarded port 7171? * Pressed start, and left the server running? (Happened to some guy >_<) * Installed .Net framework 2.0? * Made sure you have the latest release?

How do I forward to port 7171? How can I see if I have .Net framework 2.0?

Forwarding port 7171 depends on the brand of your router, please refer to it's manual for this. As for the second problem -- you should get an error on startup.
The final release will be easier to use >_>
(Right now I'm working on making this compatible with 7.65, it's VERY hard and takes nearly all my time, sorry for this =/)

I just sended a mail to Thomac and he's working on a new version altought we have to ask CipSoft again if it's still alowed with the password encriptions. I don't think he's reading the boards at the moment, sorry.
