hi,
this is the first thread i have started and decided to share my ideas. Tibia requires more variables in the game. That is what many of your proposals have lead to. Just to name a few, new vocatinos, more items, second promotions, etc. I believe one of the major aspects of tibia that is lacking, is the strength, intelligence, dexterity, etc. stats. These variables add a new aspect and strategy to the game. Not only will players have a chance to personalize their characters, itll provide new strategies. Tibia may argue that this would make the game too easy, but it was quite the contrary. With the addition of stats, you can create certain limits needed. For example, a minimum of 50 strenght, and perhaps 20 dexterity, to use a dragon lance. This prevents higher levels from giving and helping their lower level characters to an extent that other players simply do not have the option of doing. So in reality, thsi makes the game harder, but not to the point where it punishes players. Also, lets face it, tibia does not require much brain power to play. This adds a level intelligence required to play, so not the ones with no life advance, it's the intelligent ones who put thought into the game, but maintain a certain degree of intelligence. But with the addition of stats to characters, tibia would argue it might also make creatures easier to hunt. Well i have one thing to say to that, give the creature sstatistics as well. As for items, the additino of statistics would greatly increase the value of items. Many of you older players can remember back when equipment actually had value. This would bring this generatino back, and provide some more excitement to hunting. Cuz lets face it, no one doesnt like the adrenaline of pulling a vampire sheld and being able to sell it for a decent amount.
I would also like to propose a greater number of creatures, as many of you already have. More creatures provides more options to hunt. Everybody likes optinos, it gives life more excitement. I will say that tibia has added their fair share of creatures to the game in the past year, however, none of these creatures r truly exciting other then pharoahs and bosses. They are merely a variatino of a creature that is already in game. So, my idea...listen to the players. Quite a few of them have pretty decent ideas which does not hurt tibia in anyway.
As for vocations, I do believe adding them to current servers that are already up, is not a good idea. However, you can add more vocations to new servers and restrict them to only those servers. Some players will comlain yes, but the world does not revolve around them.
As for items....we can all agree more must be added. I have played a couple high levels not to brag or anything, but the excitement is just removed after i have gotten all the best equipment. What more is left for me to play? Competition i suppose, but what about those of us who play for fun.
Also, i believe soul points need to be removed. Theire addition to the game has simply ruined the chance for free account sorcereres and druids to advance. The regeneratino for a non promoted mage is one sp per 2 minutes. that is simple unbearable, if tibia insists on having soul points in the game they must at least increaes the regenratino for non promos, or give the facc some kind of quest to do that enables them to regain faster sp.
Also, items need to have special abilities. Perhaps an item can promote a statistic if they were to be added, but decrease another statistic. For example, a dragon lance could promote strength, but reduce intelligence.
Which brings me back to statistics. A certain level of intelligence could be required to learn certain spells or cast them. This could get rid of the level requirement but still have a requirement, but keep the game fun for others.
so this is my first proposal, i may expand later. tell me what you think.
