Here goes - tell me what u think ? As a knight I think its unfair if you block u hardly get any exp and I dont think it encourages Knights to be team players, so - my proposal is this- have a "team Mode" a bit like party but in team mode everyone gets a share of the exp, There would have to be some agreements about loot b4 hunts - but I think it would make Knights more willing to be blockers on normal hunts, and encourage exploration more - just my thoughts please comment

I like the idea, but this thing can be abused to lvl up low lvl chars.

I can imagine a sorcerer and a knight going to kill demons, and a lvl 8 druid is standing in edron's depot receiving expirience .

Make it so when you die, a sparkle similar to mass heal appears, all party members hit by this shares the exp

Sux to block without getting exp!! Why not : Team members must be in the same image, i mean all team members must be on the screen where is the monster and when he get killed all those who were on the screen will receive exp. But still, there will be room with door and things like that , lower lev behind the door in safe and others in the other side killing the monster. Ok , donno how we will make that idea better ;D

Maybe there should be a maximum of ... lvls difference between the party members.

Interesting responses - I agree it is open to abuse - but if u make a couple of adjustments to the idea , it could work - my main point of the post was that knights blocking get virtually no exp compared to a shooter so lets just say - the knight must be the "leader" of a team party and he gets a percentage of the exp (dependant on damage taken) - all other team members must cause damage to the monster to get a share of exp- then u cant get a lvl 8 druid in Edron dp getting exp- I also like Fox`s idea of making it lvl based - but maybe this would not be required if the shooters had to cause dmg ?
what u guys think ?

I don't know if it would work very well. Maybe the exp should be calculated by the damage you do and the amount you're damaged.

fox has a good idea. xp could be calculated to how much damage you do and take. This has a problem to it though, knights take more damage sometimes then players do. And this idea has a flaw all together. Knights are the only vocation that can always hunt, or almost always. That is one of their strenghts, one of the key reasons knights own the xp charts. If you give them xp from blocking as well...well then they are over powered. a knight is motivated to to block because of the majority of loot they get to keep, which powers them to get money and level better then knights who do not block. no offence, but i overal think this is a bad suggestion.

I have never been motivated to block on my knight. The few times I did block we found nothing or we were with so many people that almost nothing was left. The bad side of blocking is that you only waste in some cases while the others at least get exp.

that is purely luck though, that is not tibia's fault. and if you have to bring that many people, u probably shouldnt be going.
