This is a version of the problem of fields and cows by Newton.
In a farm, when the grass has grown up, the cows eat it. While they are eating the grass is growing too. When there are 15 cows eating 3 acres of grass, they eat it in 4 days. When there are 32 cows eating 4 acres of grass, they eat it in 2 days. How many cows to eat 6 acres of grass in 3 days?
The original problem is this: The grass grows uniform and constant in a green field. It is known that 70 cows would consume it in 24 days and that 30 cows would do it in 60 days. How many cows would eat the grass in 96 days?
