Polar Bears live at the ice islands in the north-west of Tibia. They are nourished by fish and small animals. They are stronger and more aggressive than their brown cousins. Avoid their powerful stroke and attack them with distance fighting weapons.

Polar bears aren't very hard for a knight. If you want to kill them expect that they are harder than Bears. They are not very much harder so they are easy. A knight that can kill Bear should be able to kill a Polar Bear. Polar Bears got more hitpoints and they are a bit stronger than Bears. They can appear in groups with like 2-3 Polar Bears and Winter Wolves nearby them. Warning: Yeti sometimes spawn in Folda or Vega and Yetis can be deadly for low level players.
Paladin hunting guide:

Level 8+: Polar Bears aren't much harder than normal Bears. You can only meet the at the Ice Islands. You can usually find them groups and nearby Winter Wolves. There are 2 ways at this level how you can kill them easy. First way is to use arrows. This method is a bit waste. The other way is using spears and shield. The spear/shield method can be good since frost trolls drop spears. You can find some Frost Trolls at ground floor of Folda.
Warning: Yeti sometimes spawn in Folda or Vega and Yetis can be deadly for low level players.
Level 10+: The economic way to kill them is using spears/shield and maybe a meele weapon too. Use spears until they all break then use the meele weapon to collect spears in Frost Trolls which you can find in 3 places of Folda. The ground floor, on the mailbox hill and in the Duegon. Do like this until you want to leave the Folda. You can kill them with arrows but it isn't really good. Warning: Yeti sometimes spawn in Folda or Vega and Yetis can be deadly for low level players.
Mage hunting guide:
Items needed for a safe hunt:
* 1 or more manafluids
* Some blank runes if you make runes while hunting them.
Introduction: Polar Bears are a bit harder than Bears. If you can kill Bears then Polar Bears shouldn't be a problem.
Procedure: Get your first wand or rod and go to Vega or Folda since they only spawn there. Kill them in close combat or running from them. Expect to meet Winter Wolves nearby them if you hunt them on ground floor. Polar Bears are a bit rare in. So you can only find them at Folda ground floor and at Vega ground floor.
Safety rules:
* Always eat food while hunting them so your mana will regenerate.
* Always take at least 1 or more manafluids. Don't even think about not taking it since your mana can run out fast.
* Watch for Yeti. It can spawn on Folda or Vega sometimes.
Attacks
1. Close Combat
Polar bears only attack is Close Combat. They can make up to 30 damage with their meele on a bad equipped player. Normally it don't do so much damage. They don't appear with big groups so they should be easy.
