Winter Wolves are related to normal wolves, but they have a thicker, white coat and are a bit stronger. They live at the ice islands in the north-west of Tibia, where they hunt small animals. A single Winter Wolf is rather shy, but as a pride they can be quite dangerous. And when they are hungry they even attack humans.

Winter Wolves aren't very hard for a knight. If you want to kill them expect that they are a bit harder than Wolf. A knight that can kill a Wolf should kill be able to kill a Winter Wolf. Winter Wolves just got more hitpoints and they are so strong like Wolves. They can appear with easy creatures like Polar Bears and Frost Trolls. Warning: Yeti sometimes spawn in Folda or Vega and Yetis can be deadly for low level players.
Paladin hunting guide:

Level 8+: Winter Wolves aren't much harder than Wolves. You can only meet the at the Ice Islands. You can usually find them nearby frost trolls and polar bears. There are 2 ways at this level how you can kill them easy. First way is to use arrows. This method is a bit waste. The other way is using spears and shield. The spear/shield method can be good since frost trolls drop spears. Kill Winter Wolves on ground floor.
Warning: Yeti sometimes spawn in Folda or Vega and Yetis can be deadly for low level players.
Level 10+: The economic way to kill them is taking a meele weapon/shield with you and some spears. Use spears until they all break then use the meele weapon to collect spears again and do so until you want to leave the place. With this method it's better to go to the Folda Duegon.

Mage hunting guide:
Items needed for a safe hunt:
* 1 or more manafluids
* Some blank runes if you make runes while hunting them.
Introduction: Winter Wolves are a bit harder than Wolves. If you can kill Wolves then Winter Wolves shouldn't be a problem.
Procedure: Get your first wand or rod and go to Vega or Folda since they only spawn there. Kill them in close combat or running from them. Expect to meet Polar Bears and Frost Trolls nearby them if you hunt them on ground floor. If you hunt them in Folda Duegons you should expect rotworms and minos or creatures nearby them. But Winter Wolves are a bit rare in Folda Duegon. Vega ground floor and Winter Wolf cave is much nicer if you going to only hunt Winter Wolves.
Safety rules:
* Always eat food while hunting them so your mana will regenerate.
* Always take at least 1 or more manafluids. Don't even think about not taking it since your mana can run out fast.
* Watch for Yeti. It can spawn on Folda or Vega sometimes.

Winter Wolves can make close combat. It's not very strong. It's like the wolf meele. Winter Wolves can make 0-20 damage with close combat. You shouldn't have big problems to kill them. They don't flee from battle.
