Snakes live in the grasslands and forests of Tibia where they hunt small animals. Their tactic is to hide in the grass and pop up when a victim approaches. Relying on their poisonous bite they even attack humans when they feel cornered.

Rookgard hunting guide:
Snakes are easy for a begginer in rookgard. They give nice exp you don't get much damaged by them. Just use your meele skills and kill them. They aren't much harder than rat but free account players need level 2 or go through a dangerous cave to kill snakes while premium account players can do it at level 1 without much problems. Just get some rook equipment and start to kill them. The guard and Cipfried can cure you from poison if you are in trouble.
Knight hunting guide:
Magic: Waste to think about to use it
Kill: 10/10
Econ: 20/20 but they don't give any loogt
Snakes are very easy for a knight. You can even have the worst skills to kill them. You just need a meele weapon with attack about 20 or more. They can give nice experience and they often come in groups. As soon as you got skills 20/20 and antidote spell snakes are getting economic. They don't give any loot but you won't waste anything or at least nearly nothing when you hunt them.
Paladin hunting guide:
Kill: 8
Econ: 8
Level 8+: Paladins shouldn't have problems with killing them. You can use meele to kill them or arrows and even a distance weapon like spear or small stone. You can kill snakes in few seconds without problems. They got 15 hitpoints so it won't be much waste. Just get the antidote spell and start to hunt them.
Mage hunting guide:
Items needed (for a safe hunt):
* 1 or more manafluids
* some blank runes if you make runes while hunting them
Introduction: Get your first wand or rod and start to kill them. You can also kill them with meele.
Procedure: After you got your first wand or rod you can start kill them without much problems. The only problem is for druid because their first rod is shooting poison. But this can be a good magic training. Attack with the snakebite rod at the snake and you will train magic. You can also fish while doing it. But if you want to kill the snake as a druid you should use a meele weapon with attack 20 or more. You can also wait until you get level 13+ and the level 13 rod.
Safety rules:
* Get the antidote spell before hunting snakes.
1. Close Combat
Snakes attack with close combat. It isn't very strong but a group of snakes can kill a bad equipped player in rook. Snakes can make 0-10 damage with the close combat and also poison you.
2. Poison
Snakes can attack with poison. This isn't a big problem in mainland since you can buy the antidote spell and cure yourself. But in rookgard this can kill bad equipped players after a while. But you can talk to a guard that can heal you or go to the rook temple.
