Hunting rotworms
Rotworms are very common and are the most killed monster in Tibia. They are very easy as long as you are prepared.
Make sure you bring:
- A rope and shovel (Most rotworms are in caves)
- A light source (The caves are dark)
- Food will not be needed, rotworms drop it quite often
- A machete if you are killing them in the Venore swamp
- Possibly some blank runes so you can make runes as you hunt.
Magic: Don't kill them with msgic
Kill: 25/25
Level: 35/35
Knight- As long as you have about 25/25 skills and a decent weapon along with a shield, rotworms are very easy. As with any other monster, try to make sure only one rotworm is attacking you at a time. You can do this by running around and using the cave to your advantage. If more then one rotworm is hitting you, will you have a better chance of being hit for large damage amounts. At skills 35/35 you won't get damaged much by rotworms and you can kill rotworms to level up. Rotworms are also commonly used by knights to train skills, you can do this by have two rotworms attack you while you slowly hit them with a weak weapon.
Kill: 8
Level:10
Paladin- It is possible to spear rotworms and let them hit you to gain distance fighting and shielding, but since spears break you may have to bring a lot or go back to town and get more. Paladins can also use a sword, club, or axe weapon to kill rotworms if they really need money and do not have any arrows or spears. If you are donig that, use the same strategies as knights.
Items needed (for a safe hunt):
* 5 or more mana fluids depending how long you will hunt
* Blank runes if you want to make runes while hunting rotworms
Introduction: This is one of first creatures you meet. They are easy and you just need wand/rod to kill them.
Mage-
Hunting solo:
Rotworms can be killed as early as level 8 after you recieve your first rod or wand. Just attack the rotworm and let the wand or rod do all the work. Remember to run and shoot if there is more than one rotworm. This will prevent getting hit for high amounts of damage. Remember to always eat food so you always have mana to shoot your rod or wand and drink a manafluid in case you run out of mana.
Safery rules:
* Always eat food when hunting rotworms.
* Always take some manafluids with you if you go for a long hunt.
Rookgaard- This is a very hard monster to fight in Rookgaard. The best method to use while hunting them is to run and throw spears, or to trap the rotworm behind honey flowers and spear it. You can also have one player block the rotworm using defensive mode, while the other player all out attacks it. Killing rotworms is recommended for people over level 7.
Attacks:
1. Rotworms only use close combat. If you are ill equipped or have too many rotworms attacking you, you make get hit for high amounts of damage. They can hit up to 30 or 40 damage when you don't wear equipment.
