War Wolves are a race of fearsome beasts bred by orcs. They are much larger than their less dangerous cousins from which they evolved, reaching up to five feet in height, and in fact orcs often use them as mounts to ride on. However, War Wolves are dangerous opponents in their own right, endowed with awesome strength and vicious, razor-sharp teeth that can cut through armour and flesh alike. Also, War Wolves haven proven to be so cunning in battle that some scholars believe these animals have acquired some kind of semi-intelligence. Of course these may only be rumours, but there can be no doubt that War Wolves hate all civilised races just as ardently as their masters do. A War Wolf will always fight to the death.

Knight hunting guide:
Kill: 30/30
Level: 50/50
War wolves are very easy even for begginer knight in mainland. You can kill them with meele easy. Just get skills 30/30 and grab a weapon with 25+ attack and war wolf is dieing easy. The best places to kill war wolves at lower level are orc camp north of Thais and orc shaman tower west of Thais. But the problem is that you can lure orc riders and orc berserkers at orc camp north of Thais and war wolves can easy kill you at orc shaman tower since there are both snakes and war wolves there so your shielding can break. Better get skills 50/50 before going war wolves.
Paladin hunting Guide:
Kill:10
Econ: 30, if you want get food
War wolves are easy for a paladin. Go to the orc camp north of Thais with blocker or shoot from the other side of the river. This method is safer since war wolves are fast and you can find orc riders and orc berserkers nearby them. Just get a friend that can lure or block some war wolves and orc riders etc. Better shoot arrows because bolts are waste to shoot at war wolves and you can always make arrows if you got the spell.
Mage hunting Guide:
War wolf time.
Items needed (for a safe hunt):
*5 great fireball runes
*10 or more manafluids
* 5 heavy magic missile runes
* Few blank runes so you can make runes
* Few intense healing runes
Introduction: You don't have to go with blocker when hunting war wolves but it's safer since you can find them nearby orc riders and orc berserkers. So begginer mages should go with blocker. A good place is orc camp north of Thais.
Hunting with blocker:
Take a good blocker with you (level 15+) that can handle situations with orc berserkers and orc riders. Go to the orc camp north of Thais and take your necesarry items with you. Let the blocker stand some squaremeters in front of you. And take your wand/rod and just shoot. If you find a group of them, just take your GFBs or HMMs and shoot to kill them faster. You may also use manafluids if your mana runs out.
Solo:
Mages can solo war wolves easy. Stand in close combat or run around and shoot with you rod. War wolves won't damage you much but the other creatures nearby can damage you alot ( orc riders, orc berserkers etc). You should get rid of the orc berserkers and orc riders fast and then kill the war wolves. You may use HMMs at the beggining. Use GFBs if you find a group of them.
Safety rules:
* Always be ready that harder creatures can wait nearby the war wolves.
* Always have your backpack with manafluids and bag of IH open.
* Be ready to use HMMs and GFBs if you find groups of war wolves and harder creatures.
Attacks:
1. Close combat
War wolves are having a weak close combat but for a new player in mainland this can be a challange. They usually don't do much damage but in some cases they can do 50 damage with meele. This is the war wolf only attack. Since they are fast it can be hard to avoid this attack for lower level players.
