Are you a druid or want to start a druid.
Then this is your guide how to be a druid with all the fun thrown in!
To start, I have a druid on Isara, named [player]Sir winalot[/player]
He is only level 29 but his magic level is good for his level.
This guide will tell you how to be a druid and have loads of fun at the same time!
Starting off.
You will start off on rook, to get off this island fast, do these following things:
Kill rats in the sewer, loot them, throw away worms, keep the body, do this untill your out of cap and then sell the worms to Seymore by saying "hi" and then "rat".
Do this untill you are level 3 and have a leather set with a wooden shield and rapier.
When you are level 3, leave the town from the north and kill snakes as well as some wolves, DO NOT GO OVER THE EAST MOUNTAIN.
Go west, there is a banana tree, click use on it and keep the banana, go south from thsi and there is a raft with some poison spiders, try to lure these away if you cant kill them. open the box and get a book, then return to the town. Give the book to amber and get a short sword, give the banana to willie for a studded shield, Sell your old shield and sword. Buy a rope and shovle and go to the troll caves and kill things in there for a while. When you are level 8 proceed to main as a mystical druid. Premium accounts do the same but use the premy rat and troll caves instead.
Mainland.
You will have bad equipment as you start off, don not panic, this can be fixed easy. I advise you pick to live in the town of Thais as it is very druid friendly.First get all the money you saved and buy the spell "light", cast this when ever you can.
Go into the magic shop and get your very first rod, a snakebite rod. Go west and kill trolls untill you have 500gp. With this buy brass legs and brass armor, it is light and decent for a low level. You can go north east to the dwarven bridge and look in bodys for a dwarven shield or soldier helmet. A premium account can and should go to edron because their caves are better, from there, they should do the troll and goblin cave quests.
ALLWAYS CAST SPELLS TO GET YOUR MAGIC LEVEL UP!
IF SOMEONE TRIES TO KILL YOU OR ANYONE ELSE...RUN!
Do this untill level 13, then buy a moonlight rod.To see waht you can kill with this look here but I advise you focus on on killing rotworms, trolls, minotaurs and maybe even a dwarf or two.
Make sure you have the following spells
Light (Utevo lux)
Light healing (exura)
Antidote (Exana Pox)
Intense Healing (Exura Gran)
Levitate* (Exani hur up/down)
Energy Strike* (Exori vis)
* = Premium Only
Kill Rotworms, Trolls and maybe plan a little visit to the Dwarf Mines (Do not try soldiers yet).
If you are premium then go to Darashia (It may be safer to go to ankrahmun and then walking as you may get caught by the ghost ship) and fight in the darashia Mino Pyramid (Do not go down unless you have a good friend to block) to kill minotaurs.
Follow the red line to the mino pyramid:
Thank you tibianews
For more information on Darashia, visit the Darashia Guide, or the Darashia hunting guide.
By now you should have the following equipment:
Plate armor
Dark/steel Helmet
Brass legs
Dwarven Shield
Leather Boots
Moonlight Rod
Spikesword/Barbarian axe/Clericial Mace (optional)
Try to be at least magic level 8 by now.
Hunt here untill you are level 19, then you can buy a volcanic rod, use this to hunt more minos, rots, and now you can even try a dwarf soldier. I advise you try to get some levels in the amazon camps, A good one is north of venore that even has some quests, but do those with a large group as they can be tricky.
Make sure you have the following spells
Haste* (Utani hur)
Intense Healing Rune (Adura Gran)
Heal Friend (Exura sio "name)
Now.....you can make a decent rune, Intense Healing, make these to heal your self or a friend, BUT if you make them in groups of 20, you can sell them for about 1500gp, this can help you get magic levels and equipment.
By now you should have some freinds to hunt with, if you have befreinded a knight, get him to block some minotaur guards and cyclopses while you shoot and heal him, this is good for exp.
Now you can kill some stronger things, do this untill level 26 (25 is fine but 26 will get you a new rod).
Buy a promotion as soon as you can if you are premium.
Level 26 - The big breakthrough
Now you can really start living, this is the perfect chance to get good equipment and maybe even a house.
Make sure you have the following equipment:
Plate armor
Plate Legs
Steel/Dark helmet
Guardian Shield
Fire sword/Knight Axe/Skull Staff
Leather boots
At least magic level 25
Make sure you have the following spells
Ultimate Healing (Exura Vita)
Strong Haste* (Utani gran Hur)
Summon Creature (Utevo res "Monster)
Great Fireball (Adori Gran Flam)
Ultimate Healing Rune (Adura Vita)
Heavy Magic Missile (Adori Gran)
Those last two are the most important. Spend alot of time aking backpacks of ultimate healing and sell them for 3000gp each to players. I advise you find a high level player and ask if he would like you to be his rune maker as they can then become your freind and protector. Anyway, keep making runes untill you have a Blue robe, Crown (knight will do) legs, a Vampire Shield and a crusader helmet. Boots of haste are optional.
Now make some runes for yourself (about 2 bps of each kind is ok). Summon a monster and go kill cycs and mino guards south of thais, or, if you are confident, go into Mount Sternum underground and kill cycs. Do this untill level 27. Now you can summon a monk. An alternative for premium accounts is to go into a easy tomb with runes and a volcanic rod untill level 27, then you can summon a monk to help and take a melee weapon along instead. a Monk will be very good in a dwarven mine, even agaisnt Guards if you are lucky, make sure to take plenty of UHs, HMMs,GFBs and IHs (for the monk)
Kill them, make a lootbag and sell it.
I advise you buy the Firebomb rune too.
Level 28 - Fun anyone?
Now you can summon a Demon Skeleton, the fluffy camp looking undead that are resistant to fire and poison.
These are good because you can use them to block dragons, Summon 2 of these in a dragon spawn and wait for the dragon to come to life, when it does, go foward, lure it and make sure it targets your demon skeletons, you should then shoot it with HMMs, this will give you VERY good exp in an hour. You will get about 500 exp per a dragon, so you can get about 30k per hour if your fast.
Free accounts can use these summons to kill monsters such as dwarf guards, orcs of all kind up to leader. A premium account should consider using a monk in a tomb again and maybe summon a DS to help, but that may not work.
Kill dragons and other weaker things untill level 33, then you get your tempest rod and you should be able to kill most other things.
Now for some fun!
Now you can use plenty of summons, all runes and kill most monsters on tibia.
Try party hunts agaisnt things like Dragon lords or Giant Spiders. Use HMMs and maybe a SD (depends on your party Size).
Learn explosion as it is a fun to use rune.
But isnt hunting boring now?
If yes. try casting some fun spells.
Fun spells
Creature Illusion (Utevo res ina)
Chameleon (Adveo ina)
Wild Growth* (Exevo grav vita)
Just randomly cast these and you will get attention and people will start to be your friends of being stupid like this.
Now, you have to find the rest out by yourself, hope to see more druid out there.
Groups of monsters......Don't panic!
You may come across large groups of monsters on your travels, Don't worry as you are a mage, you can make short work of this group.
There are many ways to do this, most of which are allways fun to watch.
Way one is to use a Great Fireball, this is VERY fun to do and it covers the largest area and can do decent damage, but what if some of them are immune to fire? Only one way to fix that....
Explosions, if the monsters are immune to fire then blast them with this, if you are a good shot you can get them to group together so you hit a few with one shot, it is great to watch them all die at once like that.
If you do not have those runes or you do not want to waste them, trap the monsters. A good rune for that is Fire wall, or energy wall if they are immune. if you do not select attack on them they will not cross, it is possible to box many in at once, now they can not follow you you can shoot them with HMMs etc. If you are passing through a narrow passage, you can either use a magic wall, or if you are premium and do not have one of those runes, you can use the Elder druids special spell, Wild Growth, that will stop them from following you.
