well, i heard if u use mana shield, during that time its on, all that mana u use or take dmg from will NOT count toward ml advance.. is this true?
and plz explian it to me, if im wrong. caz im confused now

I think you only advance in magic level if you cast the spell

when you cast mana shield, you get 50 mana at your magic lvl because that is the amount of mana that cost to cast the spell, then, during mana shield, if you cast a spell, it's just added to your magic level, but when you recieve damage and lose mana by that, it isn't counted with your magic level.
