hi, I´m a really tibia-unskilled.
well, I´ve a knight lvl 7, and I havnt still decided my melee weapon. what´s the best weapon?, what weapon has better quality-price relation?. are swords better than axes? have clubs too low defense?.
anwser me please. and thx.

Just don't choose clubs, they're weak in general.
There is a debate between axe and sword, but i like axes because they are cheaper and have a better attack.

I personaly like swords more because you have a larger range of weapons check here. |

Why? Cause good for beginners : orcish axe and barbarian axe cheap and good atk/def
for experimented : guards~, minos~, orcs~.... RUAN BEFORE FALL UNDER A Dragon lance!

I like sword;they cost much but they have the best defence.And likes fox said u got larger range of weapons

axes are wonderful and all, I mean in the long run of damages they deal more. However sword got the 48 for sov while the SCA has 50 for one reason only.
Ice rapier
The end all kick ass thing of death. I have hit 265 in pvp combat comboed with an exori = mage worst nightmare. Mostly because 99% of mages will not see such an attack coming, and are more susceptible to go to yellow hp then if they were fighting another mage with SD or UE, and even paladin cause of the SD.
Just my opinion

axe is the best and will be the best until magic longsword and warlord sword get added to the game. the defence of a weapon does next to nothing unless it is greater then the defence of the shield. so the only thing better about swords, is the gs, which has 22 defence. And, someone once said, the best defence is a good offense, and axe has the better offense.

swords - Points:
cost more of u look to axes
lower attack
....
Axe + points:
higher attack
cheap compared with swords
i think axes look nicer
