Tibiacity keeps growing, and thats good. Maybe we will even become a supported fansite. But this also means that the costs will grow. That's why I would like to ask some questions to the users of Tibiacity. Would you mind adds on Tibiacity? And in what way and where would you prefer them? Please take your time to answer on the next questions.
1. What way of adds do you prefer? E.g. banner on the bottom of the page, banner on top, links in the left column, pop-ups, pop-unders? Other ideas, feel free to post.
2. Where should the adds be? On the website, blog, dutch website, other place?
3. Do you prefer Tibiacity to stay free of adds?
4. Sugestions can also be posted here.

A banner or 2 on the main website or forum wouldnt hurt but please DO NOT GET POP-UPS!

Maybe 1 or 2 adds at the main page, on the bottom part of the section and news. Or maybe on the most visited pages, for example the items, monsters section. When it is done it might be one of the most visited.

Ok, I see that everyone agrees on no pop-ups. Text links are not very annoying, but I don't think they are very effective.

My idea: vertical banners on big pages underneath the navigation, small text links on less big pages and horizontal banners on pages with less content then the navigation (placed underneath the text).
What I don't like is to put banners in the middle of content.

Well if Tibiacity gets supported it will cost me too much to pay it all by myself. I think adds will be needed... I'm thinking of only putting adds on a faw pages.
