Some other online roleplaying games have a maximum level. Should Tibia have a maximum level, or would this make Tibia stupid? Why should(n’t) there be one? Would you still play Tibia if the level was limited?

I am planning to keep leveling, yes, but after 100 I will slow down, I dont want a max level but if there was one I would still play as I will never get it

I think maximum levels are boring, because the game becomes too limited.

It's true there a lot of powergamers. A limit would stop them definitely. In the other hand, players play with the main purpose of being strong, and that means leveling. Most people wouldn't reach the limit but people like Eternal Oblivion would surely reach it. I think the game is fine as it is, but I'm looking forward some updates for paladins or knights.

as i have mentioned in other thread, level caps restrict game play,
with unlimited levels servers are able to become diverse with a great variety of powers on the worlds.
If all did same max dmg had same max hp, it would just be a case of who has larger number. Not who has put in the most effort leveling.

I don't think there's a limit anymore, unless Cip just raised it to lvl 300. Eternal Oblivion is lvl 271 now. Modi~

No with the latest update you're able to level up to 70 I think. I'm 100% sure that it is still 60 Who told you it was 70 now? I think it is a very good thing that Tibia doesn't have a max level, because it allows you to determine what level will be good for you, and if you even need to level at all. ~Fox

Seems like EO is having problems with lvl 271 now... Supposedly the same thing happened as before. CIP has to fix this. Modi~

If there's a limit of what lvl you can be it would become boring.. for example knowing that you'll never be higher than level 70 or something else

I think they can't take 70 as max since many players are above it, but I guess they won't take a max lvl.

To clear the WoW think, the game itself can support to level 250, but they stopped exp gain to 60 they increase in small incriments so there won't be one god character on every world (could you imagine the reign of terror one super powered shaman could have!?!?) ANYWAYS back on topic, I believe in the re-rook at level 250 you sent to a new rook back at level 1 but with the same skills and stats as you did before you go there, so you would be able to c-class into something else.
