Spear breaking

Is spear breaking usefull or only annoying? Do you see a good point in this? Does this stops cheaters? Do you take other weapons to train your distance skill known or did you never used spears anyway?

I don't find it completely fair, but not much can be done about that . A common argument might be that knights can do the same thing, so why don't their weapons break. It all depends on how the makers of the game see the pally vocation. If they don't see them as people who train, they will enforce rules that encourage them not to.
Also, Pallys do have faster distance developing skills and equal shielding skills. Though they can't use their main attack and a shield at the same time, they can sd and cast ultimate healing. Vocations are all about strengths and weaknesses, this is just one of them.

I dont like this. It's nearly the same like let knight's meele weapons destroy. Pallys can't hunt with spears or train with spears.Pallys hunting is destroyed. But of course training should be easier. Distance weapons sholdn't break so fast like now. Distance weapons are
hard to get.Throwing stars and Small stones are hard to get. Crypt Shlambers and Demon skeletons dropping throwing stars but only sometimes. So it take long time to get throwing stars.Stone golems drops small stones only sometimes and sibangs too and like 1/3 of the goblins dropping them and goblin spawns are often full. While hunting with spears pallys could train shielding and distance at once but now you can't hunt 10 minutes with spear without they break. So i hope they change bsck spears to normal.

I wouldn't say a pally's hunt is destroyed. I never used spears on my pally, and I have distance 63 at level 31 whitout training. I find that pallys have a lot of advantages, e.g. their magic level raises good, their shielding raises as fast as those of knights, and their melee skills are good as well. The only real problem I see for pallys is the light. This should be solved with light rings or something similar.

Spears did need to break and I think that if they broke a little less often it would be fair. However, before the update pallys were the best in PvP fighting and now they seem to be the worst. Mages now have the ability to fire from a range giving a pallys only advantage among 3 vocations. However pallys can still train it just makes it a bunch harder now that they cant use spears for very long.

But now small stones, trowing stars and trowing knives don't disapear anymore. Every advantage got his disadvantage .

It is anoying when you brought about 20 spears to Dwarf Guards and you needed to come back to your town to get some more in like 40 mins

But I'm a lvl 33 pally without premmy so I can't make bolts , and arrows seems to be kinda weak :/

Yea I know they break, but before the update they disapered after 1 hit. Rezebelu, why don't you buy bolts ^^? I always buy bolts too. I usually make money on my knight and waste it on my pally .

I used to hunt with spears, but now I just use them to train, kick a bag along with 3-400 spears in it is really the only way to train now. I understand why they did it, but it does not make sense to me, knights can still train forever with no cost and no worries.

Yeah and that's anoying, they can also kill your trainning monsters such as wolves, rots and rats, and when you attack them they'll just yell "Pk here plx helpz0o0r!"

And I'd preffer to go to mino archers with my knight and get some bolts, some time ago, I had a friend that sold me bps of bolts in just 1.6k (yeah just 1.6k per bp of bolts) and that was how I got some bolts to hunt, now he seems to be retired, so I'll need more suppliers, if you play in Amera and you think you can supply me with some bolts (1-2bp per week) I'll be very heppy ;D

I thionk that spears shouldnt break a soften as they do, it is a hastle for my paladin who has to come back every once in awhile because he is low level and cannot carry very many spears. if you need to train with spears go to ancient temple with a knight or have someone go for you and in the beserker spawn one of the barrels usually has 8 spears in there ^^

in the anicent temple where you go passed the poison fields, there are minotaurs and archers, usually there r boxes that block the way to the zekrer(they push right throught it tho)and u kill warrios, spearmans and regualr orcs and a beserker and there are 3 barrels one has 13 meat and one salmon and one has 8 spears the other is empty. sometimes noobs break the barrels or move them to where you cant find them, whioch is relaly annoying.

I allways hunt there with my knight for cash, I can clear it about 50 times over using 10 exuras if I am careful.
