There seems to be some new kind of macro tool that automatically throws crap on the items you show on your depot chest. I don't know what's the purpose except that you can't take it anymore, but I guess the program can also clean the depot chest. Maybe a lot of you already kow about this but I just want to warn everyone and since I didn't played much in about 2 months it was the first time I heard about it.
Yesterday [player]Yeux Rouge[/player] was victim of this macro when she showed 370k on her depot chest. Then the tool throwed 7000+ items on it which took 1.5 houre to remove them all. Today [player]Hugote el teecolote[/player] was the second victim. I know he isn't holy neither, but macro users surely aren't; so neither he deserves something like this. He was showing his mastermind shield on his depot box when they started throwing crap on it.
The people doing this where [player]Yanni[/player] and [player]Darqu[/player]. I haven't seen them in action, but I know their names out of 2 good sources. I hope you'll all be carefull before showing items, and take care.

There was a Tibianews article about something similar to this a while back I forget what the item was, but I think it was an Annihilator loot, or at least something very valuable. In Carlin depot, a few GMs had to kick everyone out of the basement, and were banning those that didn't go up. Pretty big problem, nice to warn people of it  Fox |

I wish they could punish them in rl for using/making macro. Cip is a little too soft against them.

You can't punish someone for doing something in game. The only thing CIP can do is to ban those people to avoid more trouble with them. It will solve the problem for some weeks because they can come back with a new character. I was victim of that too and lost nice item: Bright sword. I showed my sword (shouldn't have done so) and the guy threw a lot of thrash on top of it. He managed to push me and get my sword. Minutes after that I killed him with a 2 handed sword  . Nobody tried to kill me because they saw what happened. Anyways, it wasn't my main character, that's why I didn't feel bad about that (char on other world) |

I got robbed 8 times. Worst was for like 70k.

But I've been able to recover like 50k by keeping annoying her. I also recovered a lot of the other times I got thieved.  |

i know this thread is abit old, but anyways.. im just saying.. Good to know.. I have never lost any item because of showing them on the depot chest.. but i wont.. thanks to you guys folty~ |
