If you are logged in you can go to someones account page and you see karma there. You also see 2 buttons at the left 'Exalt' and 'Smite'. Exalt means that its a good member and gives him +1 point on karma. Smite means that he is a bad person and gives -1 at karma. You can only give 1 karma point, I just found out when I tried it at Countolaf. Well count, gratz whit your 1st positive karma point.
The karma thing shows your total of points. If it's positive you're good, if it's negative you're bad.

It's not completly like I posted. You lose 1 karma point of you give someone else a karma point, so i'm at -1 now  . I can give karma points again now. |

I was reading official forum: and someone gived me bad karma, so I didnt lost it by rating Countolaf good I think.
Maybe this will be helpfull:
In Hinduism and Buddhism, Karma is the effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation. To people who don't belive in Hinduism or Buddhism, it's really just you're destiny being a result of your actions, or you get what you deserve.
Karma is a new feature in PBv4 that all members can participate in if the administrator has this feature enabled.
Members can either praise or smite another member's karma. For instance, if we had Karma enabled on the Support Forum, All Seeing Eyes or Elindir would probably have high karma because they give such good advice.
The more people like you, the higher your karma is going to be.
You can give ratings to members. It can be for good posts, topics, helping out with the board, etc. Admin can give as many as they want but members are limited. Actually, it is pretty neat if you use it correctly.

Very interesting this idea of Karma ^^ I clicked on Exalt as fast as I saw it. Now you have 1 Karma point =)
