It's all a matter of luck, if they give monsters more rare drops, they'll end up being over hunted and you'll never get to hunt them anyway. Besides if you are unlucky now, it doesn't mean you'll get more rares. The lucky ones would continue to get rares.

i think monsters that are a challenge for a certain level should drop rares but the chance should be low. that way you have players who can get the equipment for their level just by hunting the hard stuff. i personally am a player that likes to be wholly independant, the entire economy goes no farther than me if i choose. but tibia makes that almost impossible.
when you reach main unless you spend hours traning you cant kill anything that gives you eq that you need and with your startgin eq you'd get slaughtered. also you need weapons that are above your skill to aquire the weapons you need to even attempt to kill that monster

What is considered ass rare? Quaqmire rod from bh? Looted 3 of them in 2 days (hunted them 4 times like 1 hour) I looted 1 WoI but as my luck is so big the next day there is a server reset =/ (was first drag solo though) Silver dagger from a witch (love that thing  war hammer from bandit or ww (dont remember) phh dont know anything more I think rares should stay rare else there will be no rares anymore thats kinda booring  |

As far as I concen, everything that isn't dropped very often is rare . |

i think rares from vamps should drop mroe because u actually get loot from every 1 and 10 vampires right...Except for me i manged to loot an Emerald bangle and ic rapier off first solo vamp

My uncle killed 1 vamp and looted 3 rares/semis in it...
I kill hundreds and I looted 1 v-shield, 2 spikes, some black pearls
