Do the new wands and rods bring a solution for low level mages? Should other vocations be able to use these too? What is the best a rod or a staff? How can they be improved?

Do the new staffs and rods bring a solution for low level mages? Should other vocations be able to use these too? What is the best a rod or a staff? How can they be improved? I think these new rods and wands will make it a lot easier for low level mages to level, since the damage is quite good for such a low mana cost. I do think a lot of the new level requirements for making runes are rather harsh. Also, other vocations should definately not be able to use these, as it would defeat their purpose. The best rod is Tempest Rod, with energy damage. The best wand is Wand of Inferno. As far as I see, there isn't really anything wrong with them, maybe with more time and experience using them, we'll see room for improvement.

But they solved the problem of low level mages, and they didn't do anythign for high-levle knights. We want EXP for blocking please . Another thing I find great is that making runes is in a big disadvantage against instant magic; done with mages making money very fast. Now they have to hunt for their money (wich is made easier) for their money. They need the wands and rods now.

EXP for blocking we can hunt things like dragons for longer than ANY other vocation currently and we the the easyest vocation to level (until mages start hunting things like demons for hours) id much rather be a knight for leveling than any other vocation beacause its so easy

A pally is faster to level up and to solo monsters easy.

They take mana for each shot. I think they stay forever like other weapons.

Wand and rods are good for sorcerers and druids. Except the poison rods because so many monsters are immune to poison :S.

Yea i got a druid and wanna specially tx for qua(something) rod for lvl 26+cause it's useless. But in advantage best rod for druids deals energy damage and sorcerers have fire ones so they couldnt hit gs and draggys with them

I think the wands and rods should shoot from more distance.
